To accompany the wilderness play area at Witley Court, we were commissioned to realise an outdoor classroom. We wanted to create a sense of enclosure, without intruding on the landscape or views. We designed a simple earthwork circle with gently sloping sides and a circular oak bench, creating a focused space and sculptural feature in the landscape.
