Our first commission for English Heritage, two benches in specific locations on the historic Battle of Hastings battlefield.  

Though we had many concept ideas, including Bayeux tapestry inspired carved graffiti, we settled on a simple wide oak plank design with through tenons. The benches sat humbly in the landscape offering a place to rest and admire the views.
