Studio Hardie were commissioned to design and build a small, low-level toddler play area, to replace a tired set of equipment. Taking inspiration from the wetland boardwalks we created various linking walkway benches and stepping stones that snaked through the trees, sea saws, nets and two small bird boxes. Though simple, the play area is popular and sits at a low level, unobtrusively in the landscape.
